A weekend away calls for room for clothes and toiletries. An afternoon exploring needs only a few essentials. The journey home somehow requires more space than the journey there.
We designed our Air Series around these changing needs. The Tristan Packable Backpack and Leander Packable Weekender offer two ways to carry what you need, with lightweight constructions that fold away when you are finished.
The idea is simple: a bag should give you space without taking up unnecessary space itself.
Two Bags for Different Parts of the Trip
Tristan is the backpack you take out for the day. It opens into 17 liters of carrying space for a water bottle, an extra layer, and everyday essentials, then folds into its own inner pocket. Pack it inside your luggage before leaving, and you have a backpack ready for exploring once you arrive.
Leander brings that same flexibility to a weekender. Its larger format makes room for clothes and the things you need for a short stay. Use it as your main bag for a few nights away, or pack it as an extra bag for belongings you bring home.
Together, they cover a familiar travel routine: Leander for the journey, Tristan for the day out.
Lightweight, With Thought Behind the Details
Making a bag packable starts with the fabric. For the Air Series, we use lightweight 30D ripstop made from recycled textiles. Its reinforcing grid helps limit the spread of tears while keeping the material flexible enough to fold down.
But a bag also needs to work well when it is full. On Tristan, side pockets keep bottles within reach, a front zip pocket holds smaller essentials, and handles give you the option to carry it as a tote.
Leander offers the roomier shape of a weekender in a construction that is easy to put away between trips.
Reflective details add a distinctive element to the series, catching light as you move through the city.
Useful Beyond the Weekend
Packability is just as practical between trips. Tristan can come along for a stop at the grocery store or an afternoon outside. Leander can carry a change of clothes and extra belongings on days that demand more room.
Both are water-resistant. During heavy or prolonged rain, water can enter through the stitched seams, so additional rain protection is worth bringing when the forecast calls for it.
We designed these bags to be used often and stored easily. A backpack for the day, a weekender for a few nights away, and the option to bring extra carrying space without dedicating much room to it. That is what packability makes possible.
